Thank you to Grant for all his advice and help when we bought our first electric vehicle. His customer service was excellent and we couldn't have been happier . The whole experience was straight forward and we were very impressed with the MG ZS that we bought. He explained all the controls and systems etc that the car had and we just wanted to show our appreciation for the way that we were treated. My husband and I visited James Haugh MG (Dumfries) Limited, knowing we wanted to buy a car. This was the first garage we visited. We had fully intended to look around other car showrooms in the area. Raymond Reid came out to see us and was happy to let us view cars at our leisure. We take one out for a test drive. On our return we decided this was the car for us. At no time did Raymond put any pressure on us. He was super patient, knowledgeable and helpful. On the collection date, Raymond gave us a thorough explanation of the car and its many dashboard functions. He even showed us how to connect our mobile phones. All in all the purchase of our car went very smoothly. We never felt the need to visit any other showrooms.

Having decided that I might consider an MG for my next car, I popped in to James Haugh for a quiet look at the HS. I met Rob Roberts, Sales Executive at MG, Dumfries who proved to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable from the outset. Rob was happy to spend time showing me around the cars I was interested in, answered all my questions and offered a test drive at my convenience without any hint of expectation or commitment from me. He was never pushy, always extremely respectful and genuinely made you feel valued as a customer. For most of us, buying a new car is a big decision and it's important to be confident that you're choosing the right car. Rob understands that and I found that nothing was ever too much trouble for him despite the number of queries and requests I had. I bought an HS from Rob and would certainly recommend him to others who may be thinking of changing their car. He's relaxed, professional and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. Amazing dealership, the sales executive I spoke to was warm friendly and couldn't have done anything more for me. He even watched my dog while I went for a test drive! The place is immaculately clean and the cars are ace. Very happy with my new MG, I also got a more than fair price on my old car which I traded in. I drove a long way to this dealership and I'm glad I did! I hope to return in future.

From when we first met Martina we found that she was easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable about the car we were thinking of buying. No question was too much trouble to answer and her knowledge of the technical details was excellent. She was very patient with us, especially my wife who didn't really want an electric car as she felt it was too early in their manufacture. Martina took the time to make sure my wife's concerns were groundless and her friendly personality is such that it's a pleasure to do business with her. It was a very nice touch to supply us with a video of our new MG4 Trophy where she went through the different controls. Both of us now enjoy the different but great driving experience of our electric car and know that if we have any problems Martina will be glad to help us.

Initially we only went to look at a specific car as it was the make and model that we were looking for but no pics were online, the millage was low so we went a drive to have a look. Rob assisted us and was lovely, pleasant and not pushy from the start. We went home and disugged things as a family then made contact with Rob the next day. Nothing was ever a problem, we were made to feel welcome right the way through. When it came to collecting the new car we were giving a top class service (same as from the initial visit a few weeks before) then a follow up call 2 days later to see that everything was ok as he knew I was a nervous driver after being in a car crash in my previous ar a few before. I honestly can't thank the guys at MG enough, many thanks once again Rob.

Just taken delivery of my new MG HS and at very short notice. I cannot thank Martina enough for her help,patience and expertise throughout the transaction from start to handover.During the actual handover of the car Martina gave me a full and very professional explanation of all the on board controls and equipment. Just collected our beautiful new MG ZS EV from James Haugh MG Dumfries. I dealt with sales executive Martina, what can l say. From the initial conversation to the handover of the keys she has always went above and beyond, professional, courteous and always with a great attitude. Martina has always made herself available either by phone or email, nothing is any trouble. The day of collection was atrocious, torrential rain coming in sideways, so l asked Martina if it was possible to keep the car dry until l carried out my own PDI, lol. With no hesitation, the car was promptly put inside the showroom and fully re-valeted with of course Martina assisting the valet team. The car has the all singing dancing kit and Martina talked me through everything, very thorough, especially helpful for me as I’m in the later generations who need everything explained in layman’s terms. I must admit in my forty odd years of owning vehicles this dealership is most certainly the best I have dealt with, some doing in the current climate. Chris went the extra mile We purchased a new MG ZS from James Haugh in Dumfries and are delighted with the car. Chris dealt with our enquiry remotely by telephone and unlike other agents we had contacted, managed to get an order placed for the colour and spec we wanted. Great friendly dealership. We were trading in our vehicle and had a last minute hitch which delayed things. Chris was understanding and patient and the whole experience with Haughs couldn't have been better.
