After picking up my new MG today I can say I am delighted with my whole buying experience. Rob was a very friendly, knowledgeable person to deal with. As an older female I am very used to car salesmen talking to any male friend or relative who might be with me even though it is me buying the car. On this occasion that did not happen. Rob dealt directly with me at all times. I feel happy that I can go back at any time if I have any problems.

Local dealers and Vauxhall UK couldn't help in my search for a particular part for my car! I then started to call dealers further afield and luckily came across Mark B in James Haugh's parts department who couldn't have done more to help! As a result of his time and actions the required parts arrived within 24hrs at a nominal postage fee! I had been looking at cars online at this dealer for a few weeks and then we went in have a look at a particular Vauxhall. Lee Austin showed us the car and answered all the questions we had thoroughly. We took the car for a test drive and decided to buy it. Lee guided us through the purchase process, making everything simple and straightforward. He even called us to see if we would like the car earlier when they had had a workshop cancellation for another vehicle. When we picked up the car he explained all the buttons and gadgets before we left. Brilliant to work with. Raymond Reid was incredibly knowledgeable, really took note of my requirements and found me a car that was exactly what I (both) wanted and needed. I’m not especially clued up on cars and was finding the whole car shopping experience a bit of a minefield, but Raymond was very upfront with me about the pros and cons of the different models I was considering, explained the specifications clearly and what sort of features and policies I would and wouldn’t need for my lifestyle, rather than try force a sale. Really put my needs as a customer first and foremost (which hadn’t been my experience ant some of the other dealerships I was looking into) and the customer service has been excellent from the start. Had the best experience buying my new car. I had a quick look online before I went in to test drive the car I was interested in. Brilliant service. Salesman Raymond Reid was very helpful in helping me choose my new car as I was torn between two. He was also great at running through the functions of my new car and took his time to explain how everything worked. Great test drive experience as they give you plenty of time to take car out along a planned route, that allows you to test car on country roads and faster roads. Staff where all friendly and approachable, and I never felt under pressure to make any hasty decisions, Raymond took his time to get different quotes for my budget, and I managed to get a great deal on trading in my old car. Made contact with the garage over a car seen online. Raymond sent me a personalised walk around video of the car. Very honest and showed the car for what it was. There was no pressure to buy the car and the sales staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Sent a message through the Auto Trader website about a car I'd seen on there which was followed up on and dealt with quickly (and with a minimum of hassle) by Raymond Reid. I recently bought and took delivery of a new Vauxhall Astra GSe from James Haugh Vauxhall and dealt with sales executive Raymond Reid throughout the whole process. Raymond could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable, answering phone calls and emails promptly and regularly keeping me updated. Raymond also dealt with the transfer of my private registration number and offered a very reasonable trade-in value for my 16 year old Astra, which I accepted. On my collection day I travelled, with my daughter, the 170 miles from Angus to the garage to a very warm welcome from Raymond. The showroom was very bright and modern and the staff very friendly. After going through the paperwork formalities with Raymond, he then spent a considerable amount of time in the car clearly explaining all controls and as much of the tech as was necessary for a safe drive home. The whole process from order to handover was made a very enjoyable, exciting and stress free experience by Raymonds friendly, relaxed and approachable manner, and his obviously extensive knowledge of the car. Raymond has also been in touch since I collected the car to check all was well. Thought this to be the bees knees of garages But now feel let down The head lights have water in them and at over 1000 each to replace is poor But worse of all when I checked oil on car found it to be on minimum level. I took this up with garage who seemed to think it was OK to send a car out like that. With 40 years experience as a vehicle technician this is something I would never do so disappointed

I accompanied my Dad in buying a car from James Haugh recently and the salesman Raymond Reid couldn’t have been more helpful. He was incredibly friendly and polite and very knowledgeable on all of the cars on display but particularly every aspect of the new Vauxhall Astra. He spent time showing my Dad all of the controls in his new car and really couldn’t have been any better at his job. My Dad was given a great trade in price for his old car and Raymond has even phoned my Dad since to check that all is going well. All of the staff were welcoming at the garage and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and use them again in the future.

I have used Haughs for servicing for years and never had an issue. They always treat me fairly and have been a huge help to me. This week, I bought a car from Haughs. Raymond was very helpful and took the time to show me every feature on the car so I wouldn't have any issues. Very pleased with my new car, and the sales service provided by Raymond. They did a great job wiring in my dashcam for me too. Update: car broke down (6 year old car not new) and was recovered to Haughs. They were no problem receiving a car just before closing time. Car was repaired and back on the road now.

Situated slightly away from the town centre, this car sales centre deals with new and used vehicles. Although visitor parking can be a minor hindrance, the access to main showrooms, is readily accessible to both able and disabled visitors. Selling two mainstream car manufacturers produce, Vauxhall and MG, the showrooms are well laid out and well lit. This allows potential buyers clear access and views of all displayed stock.

10/10 staff have always been 100% great with me. Very friendly, good chat and are not overly pushy either. Been coming here for the past 5 years for my mot and service and they always do a brilliant job and even give you an air freshener after they have washed and hoovered your car. Definitely recommend

Recently bought my Astra from this company. Lee and team where a great help throughout the whole process and gave a real friendly welcome to the showroom. However I am waiting on my mats still (1 month later) so feel after sales isn’t it’s best which is disappointing after the good service I was receiving.

I found Simon to be very helpful understanding off my needs one thing let the garage down and that was a person sitting in front off Simon when a friend asked her about a car they were selling she turned round and said its not a Vauxhall i won't sell it I know nothing about it was very unhelpful unlike Simon with the vechical i was buying. Surely if it's on their forecourt all persons selling in that show room should be willing to help.

Prior to delivery the service team noticed an issue with the car I would never have spotted. As I live more than 150 miles away, they arranged for the repair to be carried out locally at no cost to me. Great after sales service. Will certainly use again.

Very friendly family run business. Nothing is too much trouble. I have just bought a new Vauxhall Insignia from them & the salesman called Simon went through everything on the car with me before I drove away. He even set my phone up for me. We are on holiday in Dumfries and Galloway and hit a large, deep pothole on the A708. We were to be picked up OK but needed a Vauxhall dealership due to the ripped tyre and damage to the alloy.I called James Haugh Vauxhall and they were very helpful, advising us to get there and they would get us mobile asap.
